We are happy to share that we are part of another local development, in Poole! This new expansion should further the next generation and serve to influence more youth in their careers.
The Development
Calcinotto are proud to share that we have been appointed as structural & civil engineers for an upcoming local project – Poole Sea Cadets’ new HQ. This development comes as a collaboration between Savills; the planners, and Forum Architecture; the Architects, and will allow the existing unit to expand from 65 to 90 cadets. This will now allow the Cadets to continue their fantastic work with more young people as previously, capacity has been a limiting factor in their operations.
On the existing site in Sterte, the new building brings modern facilities and a fresh, dynamic space in comparison the current place, where parts of it date back 85 years ago! The announcement was made by The Mayor of Poole, Councillor Pete Miles, who is an active Patron of Poole Sea Cadets, in front of Poole Harbour Commissioners as the Port of Poole provided the venue for the meeting.
