Challenge
To redevelop a site into state of the art facilities
The project involved redeveloping the former Cromwell Tools site in Southampton to construct a state-of-the-art Volvo Motor Retail facility. This entailed demolishing existing structures and clearing the site to make way for a seven car showroom and other facilities.
Solution
Using the available space effectively
The new Snows facility includes a seven-car showroom, customer reception areas, a ‘living room’ and café, a service reception overseeing a six-bay workshop (each equipped with recessed lifts), an MOT testing bay, and parts storage with a mezzanine. Additional facilities included staff and technician restrooms, 28 select car display spaces, customer parking with EV charging stations, and prominent brand and dealership signage.
