Julian Calcinotto

About Julian

With a remarkable 35-year career in the construction industry, Julian has excelled in both managerial and engineering roles across various sectors, public and private alike.

Since founding Calcinotto in 2003, Julian’s leadership has propelled Calcinotto to national recognition, working closely with Matt, who joined in 2006. Julian’s expertise spans building structures, finite element analysis, and multi-storey design, alongside specialised areas like piling/groundworks, reinforced concrete, and steel structures.

However, it’s not just Julian’s technical prowess that sets him apart but also his ability to lead and inspire – under Julian’s guidance, Calcinotto has become synonymous with innovation and quality, setting new standards of performance along the south coast.

As MD, he oversees all company operations, set strategic goals, and ensure they align with short-term and long-term objectives, in communication with the rest of the directors. Julian also handles the majority of client relations, delegating accordingly to the Business Development & Marketing team as well as the directors.
