About Lorant
Lorant attended PTE-PMMK University (Hungary) in 2005 studying for a BSc in Civil Engineering, where he majored in building structures.
Upon graduation, and after moving to the UK, he joined William Saunders, based in Newark, as a Structural CAD Technician and was promoted to Project Engineer within a year. Lorant joined Calcinotto as a Project Structural Engineer, working predominantly on building projects.
With over 10 years of structural design experience in the building industry, including flat slab design, steel frame construction, masonry and timber structures, Lorant is working towards IStructE Chartership.
Lorant is involved in projects from early conceptual scheme design through to final detailed design stage and is gaining experience in managing the engineering of projects through to completion on site.
