About Steven
Steven is a highly experienced Principal Civil Engineer with over 22 years in the industry, having worked with both international and local engineering firms in the UAE, UK, and Hong Kong. He earned his BEng (Hons) from Oxford Brookes University in 2002 and recently achieved the NEC4 Project Manager Accreditation.
Throughout his career, Steven has gained extensive expertise in civil, highways, and railway design, as well as specialised skills in trenchless excavation, lateral support (ELS) design, and building structure design. He has successfully contributed to a wide range of projects, from residential, educational, and commercial developments to public infrastructure, including railways, airports, and bridges. Many of these projects are high-profile landmarks.
Steven’s technical proficiency includes the use of systems like AutoCAD and MicroDrainage, with additional experience in InfoWorks, ISIS, RRRAP, and foundational exposure to BIM, Plaxis, and Site3D. His specialties lie in project coordination, highways/railway design, and drainage and sewerage infrastructure.
Beyond his professional achievements, Steven is passionate about motoring and enjoys innovating and improving gadgets. In his spare time, he embraces the outdoors with activities like hiking, cycling, and barbecuing, and he loves traveling and spending time with his dog.
