This residential development was originally housing 14 storeys of London office space, and was converted to rejuvenate the high street around it.

To successfully convert a 14 storey office block into a 119 apartments. The office block was constructed during the 1960’s.
Solution
Infusing creativity into every corner
Calcinotto undertook a series of destructive and non-destructive tests in order to understand the exact characteristics of the concrete and the reinforcement. A full 3D model of the building was produced so that any alterations made to the building could be fully understood. The apartments range in size, from 350 sq ft to 800 sq ft, and are described as reasonably priced, available to either rent or buy outright.
Situated next to a bustling high street in Edgeware, this development provides necessary housing, whilst also taking into account the original look of the surroundings.
