About Andy
With nearly 40 years in the industry, 11 of which spent at Calcinotto, Andy serves as our BIM Manager and a key member of the structures team.
Andy manages all software-related aspects, using a suite that includes Revit, AutoCAD, CADS RC, and Office 365, covering various sectors. In addition to his experience, Andy holds an HNC in Civil Engineering Studies and has studied up to Engineering Council Part 2.
Operating dual roles, Andy is both a BIM Manager and Senior Structural Technician. As the BIM Manager, he oversees the usage of BIM technologies, manages software toolsets, and ensures compliance with industry and project standards in model creation.
As a Senior Structural Technician, Andy produces detailed drawings and specifications for structural components, collaborates with engineers to clarify design details, and maintains drawing and database integrity as project requirements change.
