About Leighton
Leighton joined us in May 2025, as a civil apprentice set to enrol at university later this year. Leighton has a background in construction, having mainly worked on site after leaving school before pursuing a career in engineering. Leighton is enrolled onto the University of Solent to get his HNC before moving on to a Degree Apprenticeship Scheme.
Leighton’s role includes assists the engineers by drafting drawings using softwares like CAD and Site3D, which will provide him with hands-on experience before starting university in September.
In his spare time, Leighton is a football fan and also plays at club level on the weekends. Additionally, he enjoys playing golf too
