Calcinotto took on two more Year 12 Work Experience Placements this week (w/c 13th May), Ojas & Kacper, who spent the week under the guise of our engineers, using both Revit & CAD as well as undertaking site visits to projects such as AFCB’s new training ground or Dorchester County Hospital.
Branching out
Not only did they spend the week learning about the engineering side of the business, they also took on responsibilities with the Business Development & Marketing department, working on the new website and our online presence, and Admin & Finance, learning about what goes into running a business.
We believe that a work experience placement provides the student with ample opportunities not only to enhance their academic knowledge in a specialised subject, but also to experience a proper working environment – for most, this is the first time they will be introduced to an office lifestyle.
We value each and every student and we are delighted that we can provide this experience.
