Long time partners, Calcinotto and AJC worked together for ‘The Sloop’. This development of 86 one- and two-bedroom apartments, situated on Commercial Road in the heart of Poole, was originally a pub, where the project got its name from.
Solution
Transforming landscapes with visionary developments
The Sloop has fantastic access routes for public transport and is a short walk from several major bus routes. It is also surrounded by both Poole and Parkstone Train Stations with a direct route into London Waterloo. Accessible on foot from Poole town centre, Ashley Cross and Lilliput, with Poole Park and the Park Cricket Ground directly opposite.
The development also boasts new technology for the BCP Area, with a raft of energy saving features and an innovative underground smart bin system – the first major subterranean bin system for the whole of Bournemouth Christchurch and Poole. Also, it is a gas free development with air source heat pumps, electric panel radiators, and electric vehicle charging points.
